Ayala Land Expands in Davao with Virendo, Its First Luxury Residential Neighborhood


Davao City, Philippines – Ayala Land is strengthening its foothold in Mindanao with the launchmof Virendo, its first high-end horizontal residential development in Davao under Ayala Land Premier (ALP). Located in Toril, just 16 kilometers from the city center, the residential enclave is designed as an exclusive, low-density community within a master-planned, mixed-use estate.

Virendo takes its name from the Spanish words verde (green) and pausado (gentle/deliberate), a reflection of its vision as "an elevated verdant haven framed by Davao’s hills and shorelines." The development offers 150 spacious residential lots ranging from 450 to 1,803 square meters, set against rolling terrain with natural waterways and panoramic views of the Mt. Apo-Talomo range and Davao Gulf.

Residents will have access to two premium amenity centers designed for both relaxation and recreation. The Residents’ Lounge, located near the main entrance, offers indoor and outdoor spaces for intimate gatherings. At the highest point of the neighborhood, the Sports C Leisure Center features a social hall, pool complex, and multi-purpose court. The village’s amenities are

designed by BAAD Studios, renowned for creating purposeful, experiential spaces that blend luxury with sustainability. The first phase of the 37.4-hectare development is set for turnover by the second quarter of 2029.
